MOSCOW CARGO TERMINAL HANDLED THE FIRST SOUTHWIND AIRLINES FLIGHT

The Turkish airline Southwind Airlines, which opened direct flights from Antalya to Sheremetyevo in September this year, after a successful passenger programme, organized the transportation of cargo and mail on its flights. Today, the Moscow Cargo terminal handled the first delivery of cargo that arrived on board the Airbus A330-200.

Southwind Airlines is the youngest air carrier in Turkey and is focused primarily on the Russian market. Based at Antalya Airport, the airline was founded in April 2022, and already in August began flights to Russia. From September 10, Southwind Airlines operates daily flights on the route Antalya - Moscow (Sheremetyevo) - Antalya.
